Sabah Mikha CPA


Sabah Mikha paved the way to his career in financial services at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He gained
expertise through a combination of relevant coursework and hands-on experience. Sabah Mikha achieved Dean’s Honors for his academic performance as a Business Economics Major. His studies were enhanced with a
distinguished role as at Washington Mutual Bank. Sabah was able to balance his time between several commitments. As a full-time students as well as his role as Operations Supervisor at Washington Mutual’s Santa Barbara Branch, where he managed a team of tellers and financial representatives. He also ensured compliance with bank policies and federal regulations and audited crucial documents for nearly two years. 
Sabah Mikha, along with his responsibilities at Washington Mutual, also sought to advance his knowledge by completing internships at Commerce Capital Group Securities, LLC, a boutique investment bank based in Santa Barbara and Ernst & Young LLP, the global professional services firm. Once graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2009, Sabah Mikha relocated to South Bend, Indiana, to matriculate at the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business. Sabah was a candidate in the school’s graduate program in accountancy, which recently ranked among the top five accountancy programs in the US. Sabah Mikha finished core courses in corporate finance, financial policy, and team management as well as taxes and business strategy. He also sought out specialized studies in financial reporting and assurance services, fulfilling the educational requirement necessary for a license as a Certified Public Accountant. Sabah Mikha received his Master of Science in Accountancy in 2010 and returned to California to join Ernst & Young, where he currently serves as an Accountant in the Assurance Services division. Sabah Mikha now lives and works in Los Angeles. 
Sabah Mikha is an avid supporter of the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the Women’s Cancer Research Institute at Cedars-Sanai Medical Center in West Hollywood. He has raised hundreds of dollars participating in the Run For Her 5K Run and Friendship Walk in Los Angeles. He also dedicates some weekends volunteering to build and restore homes with Habitat for Humanity. He also enjoys playing gold and football.
